This is my pet peeve. I hate when I go through miles and miles of wild grass, battling Nidoran and Oddish alike. I travel without going back to the previous Pokemon center, and my Pokemon are down to 5hp each, and a few are poisoned. Finally, I reach the next town. Keep in mind that I have not saved the game for a half hour. I am five steps from the door, and I am about to go in...
Wait, now I have to fight Gary freaking Oak. "Hey Evan, just thought I would drop by and see how strong your Pokemon have gotten!" Who does that kind of crap? Does he have any idea how much pain I just went through, and I have no chance of beating him? That's so annoying. Now I have to either fight him, which ends in a loss, no doubt, or I could just start over the game. It's just a load of stupid, is what it is.
